In the Magic Kingdom, summer starts tonight with the debut of Happily Ever After, an all new nighttime spectacular featuring fireworks, lasers, and projections on Cinderella Castle.

Can you believe it’s already November? The holiday season is upon us. Holidays are traditionally spent with family and friends, eating lots of food, exchanging gifts, and being thankful for the blessings we are given. There’s no place like home for the holidays. But for many Disney fans, "home" means Disney World! We love visiting Disney World during the holidays. After many months of anticipation, Disney has confirmed that the new Rivers of Light nighttime spectacular will debut in Disney’s Animal Kingdom on April 22. This all new show, which takes place on the Discovery River between Expedition Everest and the Tree of Life will use water screen projections, lanterns, and projections on the Tree of Life and surrounding landscape to tell a story of four animal Spirit Guides. Based on concept art and some sneak peaks offered by Disney Imagineers, this appears to be a nighttime spectacular on the same level as World of Color in Disney California Adventure.
