In the Magic Kingdom, summer starts tonight with the debut of Happily Ever After, an all new nighttime spectacular featuring fireworks, lasers, and projections on Cinderella Castle.

If you’re anything like me, you enjoy reading, but struggle to find books that both capture and hold your attention. As a Disney fanatic, however, I’ve discovered that there are countless books available about Walt Disney, the Walt Disney Company, and the Disney Parks. On the off-chance that some of our MouseGuests readers are looking for a good book to read, I though I’d write some book reviews on this blog, sharing my thoughts on some of the best Disney books I find.

Last Month I shared a brief trip report on how many miles we logged while walking around Disney World in May. As promised then, I’m now following up on a similar report from our visit to Disneyland in June. On this trip, we went with some friends who have never been to Disneyland before. Because of that, we felt compelled to show them as much of Disneyland as we possibly could—which, of course, meant a lot of walking.
In case you’ve missed it, there’s a disturbing rumor circulating this week that Disney is planning on introducing "Guardians of the Galaxy" to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney California Adventure. The disturbing part of the rumor is that it will come in the form of a re-theme of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. I thought "Guardians of the Galaxy" was a great movie and I’d love to see more of it (and other Marvel properties) represented in Disney’s parks.
